DrivingandStyle.com was born out of a simple frustration: finding reliable, well-written, non-condescending car advice online was harder than it had any right to be. Forums were full of gatekeeping. Manufacturer sites were full of spin. Everything else was either too technical for the everyday driver or too basic to be useful. There had to be a better way.

So we built one. DrivingandStyle.com is an independent automotive media brand focused on the intersection of practical knowledge and personal style — the idea that being a great driver and caring about how you show up aren't mutually exclusive. We write for the person who wants to understand their car without becoming a mechanic, and who wants to drive with confidence without being told they need a six-figure vehicle to do it.

The team behind this site comes from backgrounds in automotive journalism, consumer media, and — most importantly — years of logging miles on real roads in real cars. We've asked the dumb questions so you don't have to feel dumb asking them. Every article is written with a single question in mind: does this actually help someone drive smarter or feel better about getting in their car? If the answer is yes, it earns its place on the site.
